May 1st-May 4th: Sesshin (Soto Zen Style)

Sesshins are intense periods of practice in which we concentrate entirely on practice in its various forms. They include zazen, kinhin and samu as well as brief morning services, dharma talks, dokusan and eating from three bowls (oryoki). Exercise sessions such as qigong or longer periods of kinhin are also part of the program.

Start the evening before: Thursday, April 30, 17:00
End: Sunday, May 4, 14:00

Price
Basic price: 90 €
Overnight stay:
In the Zendo: free of charge
Small room with shared bathroom: 30 euros/day
Large room with private bathroom: 50 euros/day

Is it okay to only take part on some days, but not the whole time?
Yes, that is possible. Please let us know in advance.

Do I need to bring anything?
Dark, comfortable clothing. If you like, you can bring your own Oriyoki set, we can also lend you one.
